1 – 2 AprIL, 2018

Sarah started eventing at an early age, also experiencing a huge amount of hunting in Ireland and the UK. This provided her with the skill and ability to ride cross country and train all manner of horses and ponies. In the 1980’s she was 3 time National Pony Club Eventing Champion and went on to produce her own young horse from an unraced TB 4 yr old to compete at Burghley and Badminton 4* in 1993/4.

As a member of the British European Young Rider 3 day Event Squad for two years she then competed at Senior International Events for Great Britain throughout Europe , including France, Holland, Poland, Germany and Italy. Invited to train with Captain Mark Phillips as a sponsored rider of the Range Rover Team for one season, her knowledge of training and the sport was enhanced by one of the best in the sport. Other trainers and mentors such as Richard Meade, Gill Watson, Yogi Briesner and Judy Bradwell have given her a vast amount of education to share in her coaching and training today.

Well respected as a rider, she was employed by HRH The Princess Royal to train and compete her home bred young horses alongside her own and various other supportive owners. She is still training and competing her own young horses and schooling for various clients in the UK.

Sarah is a highly regarded coach and trainer throughout the UK and Europe . She enjoys coaching at all levels, sharing her experiences and is passionate about the basics being in place and understood by horse and rider before moving up.

Besides the passion for Eventing and hunting her eye for a quality horse has lead her to be well respected as a Show judge and has many appointments throughout the UK each year but also abroad including at The Royal International Hickstead (UK) and SHCA Grand Nationals Sydney ( Australia) 2019.

Along side her coaching her experience and knowledge of the sport has given opportunities to join a number of International events as part of the commentary team including Adelaide International, Equestrian in the Park, Perth and Blenhiem International UK.
